Image Analysis

Our laboratory uses Clarient's computerized image analysis in order to provide consistent quantitative interpretation of immunohistochemical stains which are performed on all breast and colon carcinoma cases. Special panels of stains are performed on sections of the tumor. With the help of computerized image analysis, these stains are then interpreted by a pathologist and the results are added to the original pathology report. The results of these stains can aid in treatment and prognosis.
